Jay Tsuei

Jay Tsuei currently serves as Co-Vice President (2025-26), following his term as Assistant Director of the Coding for Humanity Circle (2024-25), on the student board of the STEM for Humanity Coalition.

Jay is deeply passionate about using his STEM skills to promote social good. He has extensive experience in building Arduino micro controller-based electronic device, in conjunction with software coding skill. He enjoys working on different engineering projects, one of which is SurviveWise, a disaster simulation game and app designed to educate communities about natural disaster risks and the necessary actions to mitigate damage. Jay is an AIME qualifier and has medaled in multiple engineering and computer science competitions, including NASA JPL Invention Challenge and IEEE SSCS Arduino Contest. He further honed his skills during UC COSMOS and an internship at a company specializing in the application of algorithms and neural network models for image and video analysis. Beyond his academic and technical pursuits, Jay is committed to giving back to his community, by volunteering with organizations like the Food Bank and Tzu Chi USA.
