Thank you for your interest in joining the 2026-27 Student Board of the STEM for Humanity Coalition.

The STEM for Humanity Coalition (SFH) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to bridging STEM and society while fostering creativity and compassion in future leaders.

SFH was co-founded by Emily Ren, a current student at Brown University, and a group of high school students in 2024, and has been officially registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2025.

SFH brings together passionate individuals dedicated to using their STEM skills for positive social impact. Our student board organizes a variety of events and activities, such as webinars, newsletters, competitions, and book publications. In the past two school years (2024-26), thanks to the tremendous support of our communities, SFH has grown from 10 members in three cities to nearly 100 members across almost 40 cities in North America and Asia.

Before applying, please note that student board meetings are held about once a month. If selected as a board member, you are expected to attend all meetings and actively participate in volunteering responsibilities. All student officers are encouraged to contribute to the growth and outreach of the STEM for Humanity Coalition.

Please fill out all required fields and submit your application. Applications for our officer positions of the 2026-27 student board are due by 11:59pm PDT on July 1st, 2026 Wednesday. However, our Board Member positions are open year-round.

If you are a young innovator eager to make a difference, apply today to become a part of our student board and help drive positive changes in our society!

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you!
