
Lee Marquez served as Co-Vice President (2024-25) on the student board of the STEM for Humanity Coalition.
Lee is currently a freshman studying aerospace engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Massachusetts, USA.
Lee is passionate about rocketry and mechanical engineering. He has been co-leading his team to national success, winning multiple trophies and awards in The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC) and NASA Student Launch Program for several consecutive years. Since the age of 15, Lee has been teaching rocketry to younger students in communities. Lee is a National Merit Commended Scholar (2024-25) and a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award (2023-24). In his spare time, Lee enjoys gardening, caring for small animals, practicing kung fu, swimming, and playing the piano.
